'LOVE SONG'

In February 2021, Ava Vox released her debut single “Love Song.” The track Love Song was originally written by The Cure. Ava Vox decided to slow down the tempo of the song and performs this classic song with just the accompaniment of piano. Vocals by Ava Vox. Piano by Ray McLoughlin.

Ava Vox worked together with Music Producer Ray McLoughlin (RMC Recording Studios) on all tracks. All tracks were recorded and produced working remotely due to the Covid restrictions.

'Crash'

"This new interpretation of the lyrics of the song ‘Crash’ allowed me to really let loose. Crash brings you somewhere - to a place, to another dimension, another time / futuristic. The music and the words lead me to create a music video about the consequences of Global warming/climate change, to our planet and the human race," says Ava Vox.

'Alone Again'

'Alone Again’ is about an abusive relationship where the victim eventually gets the courage to escape from their abuser. Once their away, they realise it was the right thing to do for them, they feel happy and safe at last. But then the abuser lures them back again, saying that they will change, it will never happen again.

"In my album 'Immortalised,' I revisited some songs that were written collectively by me and my previous band. I wanted to give these songs new life again, for the world to hear them. Then these songs would be preserved for evermore," says Ava Vox.

The album also contains 3 cover songs performed by Ava Vox; ‘Love Song’ by the Cure, ‘Life on Mar’s by David Bowie and Tainted Love by Soft Cell. Each of these artists and their songs were inspirational to Ava Vox and hold a special place in her heart.
